Written while studying abroad in Dublin through CEA CAPA for History of Ireland: People, Politics & Power, this paper analyzes public interaction, tourism, and historical memory surrounding Dublin’s Molly Malone statue. The project explored themes of public history, monument controversy, visitor engagement, and the experience economy within contemporary tourism culture.
